Join us in 2026 for an incredible adventure in Zambia and Malawi. Beginning with a wildlife safari in Zambia before crossing over to Malawi for three days of cultural immersion before ending on an eco island on Lake Malawi. It has it all!

Cultural Immersion and Skill Sharing: This expedition is about partnership. Sharing knowledge, inspiring and being inspired. During yout time in Malawi you will visit communities in rural Malawi and meet entrepreneurs striving to create incredible businesses- a showcase of amazing resilience and creativity. Your core business/life skills are so valuable and their stories so inspiring- it is a chance for knowledge sharing, support and learning.
School Experience: Spend the day at a rural primary school. Co-design a day experience- sharing skills, cultural, creativity and team work.
How we bring it together: Pre Departure the team will meet in a number of online calls to plan their time with local communities and at the school. We collaborate closely with our Malawian partner company to ensure the work we deliver in Malawi is useful, sustainable and delivered appropriately.
The cost of the Women’s Partnership Expedition for our 2026 dates is $5,250 which includes all meals, accommodation, bespoke activities and skill sharing, and transport during your time in Malawi and Zambia. (Single supplement for your own room cost $500)
International flights, drinks, visas, tips and items of a personal nature are excluded.
Flights: Arrive into Malawi (Lilongwe KIA Airport to begin the trip on 18th October. Your trip finishes at Lilongwe KIA Airport on 28th October.
Kendra will be leading our October 2026 team to Malawi. This will be her second trip to Malawi, and we are thrilled she is leading this amazing brand new itinerary. She brings passion, experience and leadership and is thrilled to be returning to Malawi and adding on Zambia this time too!
Kendra Mathias is a global traveler, finance leader, and passionate advocate for purposeful, immersive travel that challenges women to grow beyond their comfort zones. She believes that stepping into unfamiliar environments—especially through culturally grounded and service-oriented experiences—builds confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to the world.
Professionally, Kendra is a Senior Finance Manager at a major technology company, where she leads financial planning for a multi-billion-dollar business. With more than 18 years of experience in corporate finance, she brings a steady, thoughtful leadership style grounded in preparation, adaptability, and sound decision-making—skills that translate seamlessly into expedition leadership.
Travel is central to Kendra’s life and worldview. She has visited 49 countries and is intentionally working toward a lifelong goal of exploring every country on the African continent, with ten already experienced. Kendra is also committed to service, education, and expanding access to opportunities in STEM and economic empowerment. Whether navigating remote landscapes or complex global systems, she believes women are capable of far more than they often allow themselves to imagine.
Originally from New York City and now based in the Pacific Northwest, Kendra is honored to lead the Malawi and Zambia expedition and looks forward to journeying alongside women who are ready to challenge themselves, connect meaningfully, and experience Africa with intention.
